Harold Perlaza
Dr Harold Perlaza, DDS, has been educating his patients in the basis of good oral health and periodontal care for over 20 years. Dr Perlaza specializes in advanced cosmetic dentistry and laser periodontal therapy. He attended a special dental program at The University of California Los Angeles in 1989.

Dr Perlaza has completed numerous post graduate programs in cosmetic dentistry, full mouth rehabilitation, dental implants and laser periodontal therapy.

Dr Perlaza teaches at UCLA, school of dentistry, advanced education on general dentistry.

Dr Perlaza is an avid scuba diver, underwater photographer and videographer. On his time off from cosmetic dental studio he enjoys trekking and diving adventures all over the world. We welcome you to visit his photo adventures gallery.

Lisa
I am a California native and grew up an Air Force brat. My Dental career started at the tender age of 17 and has lasted for 30 years. First I was an assistant for 17 years and then went on to graduate with a degree in dental hygiene from Cerritos College in 1997. I am also a Veteran of the U.S. Navy. I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve optimum oral health.

Yekta
Hi my name is Yekta, and I have been working with Dr. Perlaza for the past 17 years.  I received my license as a registered dental assistant (RDA) from Concord Carrier Institute in 1991.  Several years after I attended a special program at UCLA and obtained my certification as registered dental assistant on extended functions (RDAEF), and this allowed me to be more involved with dental procedures with our patients. I love to help our patients with all their dental needs and I am always ready to answer all their questions. Dr. Perlaza has always made continuing education a priority in our office.  I attend educational seminars and dental courses that keep me informed of all the latest procedures.  I enjoy my job, most of all I enjoy helping others.  So let me know how I can help you.  I love helping every one to have a great smile.

Paola
My name is Paola Galeano, and I am a RDA (registered dental assistant). I received my degree from Concorde Career College In November of 2006 with an impressive 4.0 GPA. I have been part of cosmetic dental studio’s staff since February of 2007, and ever since I have played a very crucial role in establishing good, comfortable, and lasting relations with all of our patients. My main duty includes the assistance of Dr. Perlaza indelicate procedures such as tooth implants, cosmetic rehabilitations, and laser surgery. All the above duties combined with my ongoing training in the field make me a very competitive RDA in the dental industry. I like to spend quality time with all of our patients answering questions and doubts about any dental procedure. I will be looking forward to seeing you at the office.

Karineh Avaness

Dr Avaness grew up in Glendale, California. She graduated from California State University of Northridge with a degree in Bachelors of Arts in Biology in 1996. Then she went on to the University of Southern California and graduated with a degree of Bachelors of Science in Hygiene in 2001. She received her degree in Doctor of Dental Medicine from Tufts School of Dental Medicine in 2005. She has been a part of the Cosmetic Dental Studio group since 2005. She is a member of American Dental Association and California and San Fernando Valley Dental Association.
